In these classes, you will learn all 100 civics questions, practice and improve your English reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills, learn the steps to US citizenship, and practice for your naturalization interview. USCIS strongly encourages you to file your renewal request within the recommended 120- to 150-day filing period to minimize the possibility that your current period of DACA will expire before you receive a decision on your renewal request.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When\/if USCIS begins processing new DACA applications again, we will also offer assistance with initial applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">DACA Advanced Parole<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>DACA holders may travel outside of the United States, with permission from USCIS, for the following purposes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"has-columns-1 wp-block-list\">\n<li>Humanitarian purposes, including travel to obtain medical treatment, attend funeral services for a family member, or visit an ailing relative;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Educational purposes, such as semester abroad programs and academic research; or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Employment purposes, such as overseas assignments, interviews, conferences or training, or meetings with clients overseas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to receive permission to travel for one of these purposes, you must apply for Advanced Parole.
