Books are gifts that kids open over and over again. Paula Stover knows this. So when she learned about the Thriving at Three program (TAT), and its need for books in English and Spanish, she got to work, excited to help families with preschool children build their very own home libraries.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe gave us books in Spanish, so the moms and dads can pass on their language and read to their children.\u201d Krycya Flores, TAT\u2019s director shared. \u201cAnd so many moms tell me that these books help them with their English. We are so grateful.\u201d<\/p>\n

Paula managed to gather over 500 books. Every child receives a new book each week. The books go home with the children and they read, read, read!<\/p>\n

The CNNC loves volunteers, like Paula, who warmly welcome and support our new neighbors. Thank you, Paula, for giving books \u2013 a gift that keeps on giving!<\/p>\n
