We are constantly continuing to expand and add to this resource, so please excuse the unfinished nature.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

This toolkit is intended to be an accessible document for gender diverse students (this is inclusive of transgender, gender non-binary, gender non-conforming, and queer) students, and all who support them within and beyond the university. Our goal is to provide a platform that connects all members of our university community to campus, local, and national resources around supporting and advocating for gender diverse students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

                                                    4. The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender National Help Center\/Hotline<\/a>: An organization that provides peer support, resources, and national hotlines that serve as safe spaces for anything the caller wants to talk about.<\/li>

Trans Women of Color Collective (TWOCC)<\/a>: To uplift the narratives, lived experiences and leadership of trans and gender non-conforming people of color, our families and comrades as we build towards collective liberation for all oppressed people.<\/li>

The Transgender, Gender Variant, and Intersex (TGI) Justice Project<\/a>: a group of transgender, gender variant and intersex people\u2014inside and outside of prisons, jails and detention centers\u2014creating a united family in the struggle for survival and freedom.<\/li>
                                                    9. The Trevor Projec<\/a>t: focused on crisis prevention for LGBT young people. Lots of resources, including a suicide hotline and an online messaging service for people with questions about sexual orientation and gender identity.<\/li>
                                                    10. Sylvia Rivera Law Project<\/a>: works to guarantee that all people are free to self-determine gender identity and expression, regardless of income or race, and without facing harassment, discrimination or violence.<\/li>
                                                    11. National Center for Transgender Equality<\/a>: the nation\u2019s leading social justice advocacy organization winning life-saving change for transgender people.<\/li>
                                                    12. National LGBTQ Task force<\/a>: advances full freedom, justice and equality for LGBTQ People.<\/li>
                                                    13. PFLAG<\/a>: the original family and ally organization. Made up of parents, families, friends, and allies uniting with people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ), PFLAG is committed to advancing equality through its mission of support, education, and advocacy.<\/li>
                                                    14. LGBTQ+ and Addiction<\/a>: a web resource provided and funded by Advanced Recovery Systems. Since 2015, the website has provided researched, fact-based resources for free.<\/li>
                                                    15. Brown Boi Project<\/a>: works to transform the way that communities of color talk about gender. We build the leadership, economic self sufficiency, and health of LGBTQ people of color\u2013pipelining them into the social justice movement<\/li>
                                                    16. The Audre Lorde Project<\/a>: a Community Organizing Center for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Two-Spirit, Trans and Gender Non Conforming (LGBTSTGNC) People of Color Communities.<\/li>
                                                    17. Against Equality<\/a>: an online archive, publishing, and arts collective focused on critiquing mainstream gay and lesbian politics. As queer thinkers, writers and artists, we are committed to dislodging the centrality of equality rhetoric and challenging the demand for inclusion in the institution of marriage, the US military, and the prison industrial complex via hate crimes legislation.<\/li>
                                                    18. Southern Poverty Law Center<\/a>: dedicated to fighting hate and bigotry and to seeking justice for the most vulnerable members of our society<\/li>
                                                    19. ACLU<\/a>: to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties guaranteed by the Constitution and laws of the United States.<\/li>
